Holiday Dinner

I had my family for the holidays in my apartment. It was cozy hehe.. But absolutely wonderful. I was surprised that we pulled it off in such a small space. I made food and everyone took home lots of leftovers. This was some hummus. Delicious and satisfying.
My mom made the apple pie, Here it is before the top crust was added.
My super small kitchen. It is such a change to try to cook here. I still haven't brought over my dishes, so this meal was not presented well. I missed my dishes. Oh well, it tasted great!
Bread, hummus, tabouli, veggies, pita chips, non-vegan lasagna.. there was more, but it didn't fit on the table..
Hummus, veggies and pita chips
Big ass sesame bread
More big bread!
Chocolate Mint Pie
Chipotle Split Pea Soup
Soup all dished up
BBQ'd tofu sammie.. the perfect fuel for breakfast before all the cooking
BBQ tofu wrap from the other day..
Salsa in the works for my brother and SIL. I usually make them a gallon. They love it. It is really good. Like the best salsa ever!
Tabouli made a day in advance, along with the salsa.
My beautiful niece.
With her daddy.

  11. Your kitchen is bigger than mine and I live in a house. I think your food looks great! But that niece of yours looks like a little doll! She is so cute! Hubby wants your chocolate mint pie, NOW!!! lol... I am so glad you got to be with family this holiday season. Thanks for you kind words on my blog. I am happy to have you as a blogging buddy too!

  13. Your photos always look perfect, and make the food shine!

We especially like the homemade hummus, the tabouli, and the salsa. Is there any way you could share your salsa recipe? We are from Texas and love salsa!
