It's amazing that you can make veggie burgers out of leftovers like that! Way to go!
ReplyDeleteBitt, I have just had A LOT of practice making burgers.. I have used just about any leftover you can think of.. my clean out the fridge burgers were a HUGE hit in the restaurants I worked in.. the trick with really wet ones is to bake them for a long long time and then let them completely cool before removing from the pan. The picture of them before they were baked shows how wet they were.. I didn't want to add more starchy binder, so I just baked the crap out of them.. probably for an hour..
ReplyDeleteWay to use up those leftovers! I usually just make soup with my veggie scraps, but next time I'll have to try channeling those ingredients into a burger or patty of some sort. It's a great idea.
ReplyDeleteLooks gorgeous and delicious!
