Here's an alternative seasoning mix:
- 2 T onion powder
- 1 t garlic powder
- 2 T nutritional yeast
- 1/2 t poultry seasoning
- 3 T Soy Sauce
Follow the directions for the burgers. CLICK HERE for the recipe.
Top your burgers with:Sugar Free Homemade Ketchup
- Low Fat Vegenaise Alternative (You can make this without the lecithin, just reduce the water. The white bean alternative is really yummy too, again, leave out the lecithin and reduce the water.)
- Special Sauce (plus bonus All American Burger Recipe)
Big Salad
Mung Beans (for sprouting)
More Cayenne Lemonade (Stevia sweetened)

Nothing beats a well-seasoned veggie burger. Delish!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the variation; I love these burgers.
ReplyDeletehey Melody! i need to try this. everytime i make them i try to use as little oil as possible and dont follow a recipe..so they dont turn out very well..lol. hey do you think you will put out your blue cheese recipe soon?
ReplyDeletethanks for the option. i can't always get my hands on a garlic free onion soup mix for chris. we love poultry seasoning, the sage in it is good. i wish they'd rename it though.
ReplyDeleteI love how simple this is! I am living in New Zealand temporarily, so I don't want to buy food that I won't use up quickly (can't fly it home with me). But I can easily keep these ingredients on hand.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recipe — sounds like a great alternative.
